How much does a new home build cost?
It depends on a lot of factors. We want to build you a high quality home that will give you and your family value. Get in touch and we can work on a quote based on your specific needs.
Do I need to have drawings before I contact you? / Should I bring my drawings to our first meeting?
We typically do our drawings in-house so that we can help you develop a timeline and budget, and stick to it! If you already have drawings please bring them but if not, we’d love to get drawings started for you.
I want my custom home to include a covered porch, custom chef’s kitchen and an in-law suite; is this all possible?
Yes! Make a list of all features that are important to you in your new custom home. Tell us what you want your home to look and feel, and we will make it happen.
How long will it take to get the necessary permits?
Typically the turnaround time to secure the necessary building permits is approximately 6-8 weeks.
Will you help me get permits?
Yes, we will be glad to handle that for you.
What is a spec home?
A spec-home or a spec build, is a house we’ve been working on based on some of the most popular trends and features we’re seeing in our work. When we list it, we’re ready for you to choose the finishes.
Do you build outside of the Niagara Region?
Unfortunately, no. We build and renovate only within the Niagara region. This allows us to work with our preferred vendors, suppliers and are familiar with local building codes, permits, and more.
Do you build more than one home at a time?
Yes, the number of homes we build at any given moment varies but we can certainly accommodate, manage and build multiple homes at one time.
Do you sell move-in ready homes?
Yes, if we have inventory. Please check out our For Sale page to view available homes for sale.
What is the Warranty on my new home?
As a new home owner, your home is covered by the Tarion seven year warranty. For a complete outline of your warranty, please visit Tarion.com
Do you do renovations?
Yes, we complete major renovations to existing homes. We however do not complete minor renovations such as a bathroom, kitchen, etc.
How long does it take to complete a new home – from start to finish?
It takes approximately 8 months from start of construction to occupancy.
Do I need to purchase the land or do you sell plots as well?
We are happy to purchase the land on your behalf or we can build on a lot you’ve purchased.
